West Coast College is proud to announce that three of its students have been selected to represent CoSACSA Western Cape at the prestigious 2025 CoSACSA National Eisteddfod, taking place in Mpumalanga from 23 to 26 August 2025.
The selected students are:
Lizalise Mbotyi, Vredenburg Campus – Chess
Itumeleng Meselane, Malmesbury Campus – Chess
Thina Kewuti, Malmesbury Campus – Debate
In addition to this achievement, the West Coast College Debating Team secured a silver medal as runners-up in the recent provincial competition. The team members include:

Peter-John Mentoor, Malmesbury Campus
Liyabona Tabata, Malmesbury Campus
Sinalo Daka, Malmesbury Campus
Abongile Sethibo, Citrusdal Campus
Nthabiseng Mathejane, Malmesbury Campus
Sipho Mfazwe, Sports, Arts and Culture Officer at West Coast College, commented: “We wish them well as they prepare to compete on the national stage. Their hard work and dedication have already made the College proud, and we are confident they will continue to perform with excellence.”
