Applications must be submitted with fully completed new Z83: Application for Employment form (obtainable from any Public Service Department or on the internet at www.dpsa.gov.za. Documents accompanied by a recently updated Comprehensive CV including contactable references with email addresses. Failure to sign, date Z83 and submit will result into applicant not being considered. Candidates whose appointments will promote representatively in terms of race, gender and disability will receive preference. As of 1st July 2006, all new appointments in the public service have to be part of the government employee medical scheme (GEMS) in order to qualify for a government medical subsidy (Only DHET permanent appointments). Correspondence will only be entered into with short-listed applicants. If you have not been contacted within three (3) months of the closing date of this advertisement, please accept that your application was unsuccessful. Suitable candidates will be subjected to personnel suitability checks (criminal record check, citizenship verification, qualification/study verification and previous employment verification). Successful candidates will also be subjected to security clearance processes. Note: shortlisted candidates may be subjected to a technical exercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics of which will be communicated by the department. The successful candidate will be required to sign an annual performance agreement, disclose his/her financial interests and be subjected to security clearance. Shortlisted candidates must be available on the scheduled date for interviews. The College has the right not to appoint or to freeze the position.
