As reported in the previous edition of the TVET College Times (Edition 63), West Coast TVET College launched its mobile clinic to go out and take health services to the student community of the college.

During the month of May, the Mobile Clinic stopped at the Vredendal Campus of West Coast TVET College and allowed the college students to gain health services such as vaccinations, vaccination booster shots as well as allow students to get their HIV and TB screening done all at one stop.

“We believe that this clinic will indeed allow the students to be more health-conscious and indeed gain access to the needed testing and screening that they require,” says Rhazia Hamza, Deputy Principal: Innovation and Development of West Coast TVET College.
