On 26 May 2023, West Coast College Vredendal Campus hosted their annual Mr and Miss West Coast College Vredendal Campus. The event took place at the Vredendal North Community Hall.
This year the organising committee decided to make history by having the LGBTQI community as part of the event by including a Miss LGBTQI division at the Gala Event.
Students and community members came in numbers to support the event. This was an evening full of glitz and glamour where students showcased their different talents and beauty on one big stage to entertain the students and community of Matzikama.
