POST: LECTURER MANAGEMENT COMMUNICATION N4, PUBLIC RELATIONS N5 AND N6 (REF NO: WCTVET 2/9/0093)
CONTRACT: One month fixed – Term Contract (PL1)
SALARY: R 21 366,25 per month plus structured benefits
CENTRE: Atlantis Campus
REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric plus National Diploma/bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification/Advanced Diploma in TVET) compulsory.
- Experience in teaching Management Communication and Public Relations, particularly in a TVET college setting.
- Experience in developing curricula and delivering NATED programs is essential.
Industry experience in Public Relations or Communications would be an added advantage. - Valid driver’s licence compulsory (must be an active driver and able to drive the College manual vehicles).
- Registration with SACE is Compulsory (Provide the certificate).
- Experience in teaching related subject in the TVET sector advantageous.
- Knowledge of theory and practice in the relevant field.
- Sound communication skills.
- Computer literacy is compulsory.
- Experience in developing online learning materials and activities, including the use of multimedia tools and resources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams for facilitating online meetings, lectures, and student Engagement.
DUTIES: The successful candidate(s) will be required to lecturer and assess the students and keep records; Classroom / workshop facilitation. Facilitate subjects on the levels required; Report to Senior Lecturer from time to time; Provisioning of quality education and training in line with the College/DHET requirements; Assess students’ performance; Liaise with students, parents and other relevant stakeholders; Support student development; Monitoring the students in the workplace; Proficient in curriculum development and assessment Previous teaching experience in higher education, particularly within a TVET context.
POST: LECTURER PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT AND PERSONNEL TRAINING

- A teaching qualification/Advanced Diploma in TVET) compulsory.
- Experience in teaching Management Communication and Public Relations, particularly in a TVET college setting.
- Experience in teaching Personnel Management and Training at the TVET or higher education level.
- Experience with curriculum design and delivery of NATED programs, specifically Personnel Management and Training would be and added advantage.
- Industry experience in HR or personnel management fields is highly beneficial.
