POST:                               LECTURER: WELDING (REF NO: WCTVET 2/5/7/0198)
CONTRACT:                   One (1) Month Fixed – Term College Contract (PL1)
SALARY:                          R 31 000 Per month
CENTRE:                          Vredenburg Campus

REQUIREMENTS:          

  • Matric/NCV L4 plus National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field
  • A teaching qualification or Advanced Diploma preferably in TVET compulsory.
  • Registration with SACE is compulsory (provide the certificate)
  • A valid driver’s licence compulsory (must be an active driver and able to drive the College manual vehicles).
  • Knowledge of theory and practice in the relevant field.
  • Sound communication skills.
  • Computer literacy is highly recommended.

DUTIES: The successful candidate(s) will be required to lecturer and assess ERD Subjects, that is Welding L3, Material Technology L3 and Engineering Drawings L3 and keeping records; Classroom / workshop facilitation. Facilitate subjects on the levels required; Report to Senior Lecturer from time to time; Provisioning of quality education and training in line with the College/DHET requirements; Assess students’ performance; Liaise with students, parents and other relevant stakeholders; Support student development; Monitoring the students in the workplace. Able to work on Moodle platform

 

POST:                               LECTURER: BUSINESS STUDIES (REF NO: WCTVET 5/9/0241)
CONTRACT:                   One (1) Month Fixed – Term College Contract (PL1)
SALARY:                          R 31 500 per month
CENTRE:                          Vredenburg Campus
