West Coast TVET College hosted the LiG Tydskrif (Light Magazine) event at tits Central Office in late October 2021 and was attended by female members of the community in the Malmesbury and Swartland area.
The LiGter hybrid event saw more than 3600 ladies from all over the world (including Italy, New Zealand, Australia to name but a few) join online with Bybel Media (Publishers of LiG Magazine) share in the motivation and encouragement from some of South Africa’s most innovative and motivational ladies. The programme included Lindie Strydom (former Egoli Actress and now motivational speaker) sharing her journey with the ladies from her days with the Egoli team to where she is now in the heart of Somerset West still working with communities and social responsibility projects that are close to her heart.
“The college believes that the community that we serve is the heartbeat of our operations and even in just offering the venue, we believe that people can see and feel the college in a different level and therefore share the word of our facilities and their experience with the college,” shares Rhazia Hamza, Deputy Principal: Innovation and Development of West Coast TVET College.
The ladies were also motivated to continue and push through with their dreams and keep believing and dreaming big things.
