West Coast College recently announced that it is thrilled to be able to offer students the opportunity to apply online to study at the college for 2021. This process has been in the making for some time and thanks to COVID-19, the college pushed through and made this dream a reality.

Says Rhazia Hamza, Deputy Principal for Innovation and Development at the college: “It is indeed a new era that the college is entering into and we could not be more happy. The process will help students from all over the province and our region to apply to study with us that they too can gain skills to become more employable and responsible citizens that add to the thrust of our economy.”

The application platform has been designed to integrate with the college’s information services platforms that will lead to students, in the near future, being able to register online too which will then link to the government’s call to lessen the amount of crowded areas that could be possibility during the registration period in 2021.

“The college is working tirelessly to mitigate all possible ways where staff and students could be exposed to large groups of people and in doing so take pressure of the campuses and allow for a more streamlined approach,” added Hamza.

Prospective students can now apply online here for any of the college’s NC(V), Report 191 or Pre-vocational learning programmes.
