REQUIREMENTS: Minimum N4 Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with Refrigeration Trade Theory as subject; Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic – Artisan; 5 years non-teaching related work.; Evidence of training provided to apprentices/learners in the workplace environment.; Registered merSETA Assessor; In debt knowledge of the South African higher education system regarding the different accreditation bodies and Unit Standard and NQF Qualifications; Indebt knowledge of the vapour compression cycle and mechanical cooling.

DUTIES: Facilitate training of Occupationally- Directed Academic Programmes; Compile training and maintaining of learning material; Administration of training processes; Maintain stakeholder relationships; Equipment maintenance.

Skills Computer literate with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point; Excellent English communication skills; Conduct Assessments for Training course; Prepare all learners for Moderation process; Administer and record training progress; Conduct Site visits at relevant work places.

Abilities: Ability to facilitate / lecturer classes; ability to work with students / youth; be results driven and meet customer expectations, evaluate the performance of students in the construction workshop; administer training and relevant records.
