Strategic Priority Areas of West Coast College 2010 ? 2012


The Strategic Priority Areas of the West Coast College will guide the planning and strategy of the college senior management in pursuit of its vision and mission.
The four strategic areas are:
  • Programme Management - To offer quality and innovative programmes that satisfy the needs of the community and industry based on market research, needs assessment and partnerships with organizations in the area supporting socio-economic growth and development

  • Student Support - To provide all students with holistic, innovative and quality support before enrolment, through attendance and after completion of studies.

  • Widening Access - To make the services and facilities of West Coast College accessible to an ever larger part of the West Coast Community in support of national policy of socio-economic growth and development.

  • Resource Management - To provide quality, innovative and effective resources that support staff, programmes, activities and student needs.

QUALITY POLICY STATEMENT


West Coast FET College is committed to continuously improving the services, training and environment that it provides for internal as well as external stakeholders and continually strive to exceed the expectations of these stakeholders, aiming for high standards and excellence in all aspects of services rendered. This will be achieved through the setting of quality objectives to be met and to be reviewed on a regular basis, and through our commitment to comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
