COLLEGE COUNCIL FIXED – TERM CONTRACT POSITIONS

PROGRAMME COORDINATOR POSITION
(Ref. no: WCC 47 / 18) Community Development (YLDP) Programme Coordinator– Vredenburg Campus
Salary Level 6 (One (1) year performance based contract)
R226 611 + 37% (in lieu of benefits) per annum
Basic requirements: Grade 12 and relevant tertiary qualifications; 2-3 Years relevant experience; drivers licence is advantageous; able to work independently and under pressure; well-organized, reliable and responsible; stakeholder engagement; able to do monitoring of projects and seek placement for students; monitor placed students.
Key performance areas: Coordinate the day-day running of the project; liaising with various stake holdings; report on implementation and learner attendance.

Minimum requirements: Construction NQF Level 3 Certificate; driver’s license and computer literate advantageous.
Key performance areas: To assist facilitators in the workshop with the simulation training of apprentices / leaners; relieves facilitators while conducting site visits; develop and nurture future facilitators to service the institution; assist with recruitment of students and marketing; ensure the delivery of training program which meet the stakeholders criteria; assessment.

Salary Level 5
Salary: R152 862. 00 per annum
One (1) year performance based contract)
Minimum requirements: Grade 12 / NCV level 4 / N6; computer and typing skills; telephone etiquette; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; strong administrative skills; ITS will be advantageous; knowledge of SETA administration and learnership programme; administration and report writing skills. Key performance areas: Assisting during national examination; setting up college timetables; managing queries of students on a daily basis; assisting with verification, exam results, and term mark and graduation / certification process. Abilities: To work independently; to work in a team; Attention to detail; to work under pressure.

(Ref. no: WCC 57/18) Administrator Procurement NSF – Central Office
Salary Level 5
Salary R 152 862. 00 per annum
One (1) year performance based contract)
Minimum requirements: Grade 12 / NCV level 4 / N6 / relevant National Diploma; two (2) to four (4) years administration experience; Post matric qualification would be advantageous; 3 years procurement experience; experience in computerized procurement systems; experience in dealing with high volume of work.
Key performance area: Review requests received for services/goods on the College’s system; contact suppliers for quotations as per guidelines set out in the college policy; add quotations to electronic request on the College’s system; present completed request and relevant paperwork to the procurement officer and/or Finance Manager for approval; process Request to an “Order Status” and place order with supplier; follow up on delivery of these items with supplier and with staff that requested the items; match orders with invoices received from suppliers; identify and resolve any discrepancies and forward to creditors department for payment.
Skills and abilities: Computer literacy; ability to perform routine tasks; interpersonal skills; ability to file; ability to operate fax and photocopy machine; verbal communication skills for the helpful and polite communication of information; written communication skills for the writing of memos, letters, notes, and reports; ability to work independently; must be deadline driven.

FACILITATOR & ASSESSOR POSITIONS
(Ref. no: WCC 58 / 18) ECD Level 4 and 5 – Vredendal Campus
Salary: R195.50 per hour for facilitation
R10.50 per credit per learner for assessment
R150 per site visit conducted
Basic Requirements: 3 Years qualification relevant to the field of education; relevant early childhood development assessor certificate is preferable; minimum 3 years teaching / facilitation experience. Knowledge of adult education, field of ECD; current Educational Policy, SAQA and NQF; facilitation; assessment.
Key Performance Areas: Facilitation; assessment and monitoring learner progress; monthly feedback on implementation.
